Vivacious Philadelphia born vocalist Lotta Hedlund (Charlotte Jean Walker), made her mark in
Sweden in 1965 with her band The Sherrys (click) performing in the Folk Parks with Jerry Williams.
Returning to Sweden the following year to perform at Hamburger Börs in her own show, lead into
one of Sweden´s most loved duet couples, our very own Svenne & Lotta.
Starting out as a hobby then developing into Lottas first solo debut, Bad Girl which she wrote
herself, was inspired from a trip to Thailand years ago. Watching how men still used women for
prostitution after decades and paying a small sum of 150bat, for their pleasurable entertainment
and satisfaction, Lotta felt a powerful need to make a statement. Seeing this first hand in an
exclusive night club she was performing in., she felt we needed A WAKE-UP CALL!
Produced by Anthony Beck Lottas brother and legend Bill Jolly who has produced music for Stevie
Wonder, Celine Dion, Usher, Angie Stone, Teddy Pendergrass and many more… Its true eye
opening lyrics and catchy sound certainly get the message across.
The singer and song writer who has been working as a professional vocalist for many years,
has
recently put together an album, her CD debut with her son-in-law Ulf Petersson, who has
programmed the background music in the studio together with her Rolls Royce band, and Tanja
Hedlund her talented daughter who worked as Lotta´s vocal advisor, and has given great support
throughout the whole making of the album, which premieres in 2010 titled: NEVER 2 LATE.
